PostNord TPL extends agreement with Philipson Wine
Philipson Wine, the largest online wine shop in the Nordic region, has extended its agreement with Postnord TPL. Philipson Wine has been collaborating with Postnord TPL since the summer of 2015, and the parties have now signed a new contract.
As a result of the agreement, Philipson Wine will close its warehouse in Kokkedal and move all order management and the production of displays and tasting boxes to PostNord TPL. In addition, Philipson Wine has acquired Excellent Wine, and thus also moves their warehouse from Herning to collect everything at PostNord TPL's warehouse in Køge, Denmark.
The new agreement is expected to lead to strong growth in order management and warehouse capacity. The company is expected to handle at least 12,000 pallets and over 10,000 products, with a total order volume of over 240,000 units per year.
- We are pleased to be able to expand our cooperation. For us, PostNord TPL has always been a safe and knowledgeable partner. We look forward to developing together with TPL, says Jens Christian Milo, CEO at Philipson Wine.
Bitten Björk, Director of PostNord TPL Denmark, says that PostNord TPL is ready to handle this growth and emphasizes the importance of offering first-class service:
- We have the modern automation solutions and sorting facilities needed to support this partnership. PostNord TPL already has extensive experience in the wine and spirits segment, and we look forward to continuing our expanded collaboration with Philipson Wine. We believe it will create added value for all parties involved.
Philipson Wine offers quality wine from all over the world and is now the largest online wine shop in the Nordic region, with more than 36 years of experience. The move to PostNord TPL is expected to begin September 1.
