PostNord TPL optimizes customer logistics with customized solutions

Proactivity and strategic planning for sustainable development of the existing business – 3PL On-Site is a 3PL logistics solution that enables PostNord TPL's customers to seamlessly establish a partnership in their own logistics facility with a strong organization backing them up.

3PL On-Site means that PostNord TPL provides resources in the customer's own logistics property to improve the efficiency and management of logistics processes. It is a cost-effective solution that provides increased flexibility and the ability to adapt to the customer's specific needs and changes in demand.

– The traditional 3PL mission differs slightly from 3PL On-Site, primarily in terms of the degree of integration between our and the customer's operations. With 3PL On-Site, we are even more involved in the customer's day-to-day logistics processes, making it easier to quickly respond to changes in demand or other logistics requirements, says Johanna Lager, Business Development Manager at PostNord TPL, Region East.


Flexibility and scalability 

A 3PL On-Site assignment can be more or less extensive and complex. Johanna Lager highlights flexibility and scalability as the main of advantages.

– With an already established organization and infrastructure for all processes, we can be flexible and scale back when the need is less and add more resources when necessary. This means that we can quickly streamline the solution for the customer. We can move resources between customer assignments, assist in major development projects, allocate resources regionally, or provide support centrally. It is a cost-effective solution for the customer that provides great opportunities to increase growth and competitiveness.

Growing together with the customer

– Several of our 3PL On site assignments have started with smaller customers with whom we have grown and invested in long-term. The customer owns the logistics facility and parts of the logistics processes while we are responsible of the remaining part. It is a close collaboration that benefits the customer relationship and enables long-term solutions, something our new logistics facility Randmärket in Norrköping is an example of, Johanna says.

Johanna describes 3PL On site as a long-term partnership that can be established and implemented quickly.

– It is a solution with a relatively short lead time. We have the expertise and experience to integrate into a customer's operations quickly and efficiently, says Johanna.

Finally, Johanna emphasizes PostNord TPL's breadth and ambition to always work closely with and for the long term with customers.

– We do it together! Collaboration with the customer is often very close, which is why the 3PL On-Site assignments are particularly close to my heart. Our ambition is to grow together with our customers and establish solutions that enable their growth. Therefore, it's especially exciting to work side by side with the customer to always stay one step ahead and work proactively together!
