Zalando selects PostNord TPL to run the Nordic fulfillment centre in Brunna

PostNord TPL, the leading third-party logistics provider in the Nordics, has taken over operations at the fulfilment centre in Brunna, just outside Stockholm handling orders for Zalando — a 50,000 m² logistics hub serving millions of customers across Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. 

One of the largest assignments in PostNord TPL’s history marks a major step forward in the partnership.

This strategic assignment, one of the largest in PostNord TPL’s history, showcases the company’s capability to manage large-scale, high-volume e-commerce logistics across the Nordics. The Brunna site handles around 6.5 million customer orders and 19 million items annually, employing over 450 permanent staff and up to 1,000 seasonal staff during peak periods.

The Brunna facility was inaugurated in 2019. PostNord TPL already manages Zalando’s Nordic returns operations and this takeover marks the next step in the long-term partnership.

The Chairman of the Municipal Council in Upplands-Bro attended the press event held in Brunna on 15 October.

By integrating Brunna into its operations, PostNord TPL connects Zalando’s order fulfillment directly with PostNord’s extensive last-mile network, creating a seamless end-to-end flow from warehouse floor to customers’ doorsteps and pick-up points across the region.
